Dry powder extinguishers are suitable for areas with multiple risks and are ideal for use on solid combustibles, flammable liquids and electricity as they extinguish fires by interrupting the chemical reaction and cutting off any oxygen supply. This makes them ideally suited to areas using chemical processes, welding and flame cutting equipment and premises with large boiler rooms.
